Bare-root plants are planted deeper and can be harrowed without issue.

Planted crops need to be well rooted or have the pressed pot/tray system lightly covered with soil. Otherwise, there’s a risk of them being ripped out.

Pre-emergence
Crops placed around 4 cm deep are successfully harrowed.

Post-emergence
Depending on the crop, the harrow can be used from the 2-leaf stage.

In dry years in particular, water management is vital for economic success. The Treffler harrow helps preserve water for your crop by breaking the capillaries. By breaking of a crust it increases water intake into your soil at the same time by breaking up the crust.
