Precise metering and depositing of mixed crops

The sowing machine meters two mixed crops individually. The tine seeding technology deposits the large-grained seeds at a depth of up to 10 cm. The double disc sweeps deposit fine-grained seeds with precision from a depth of 0.5 cm.

Even distribution

Our sowing machine guarantees even distribution of all mixing partners across the entire field. Each type of plant in a (catch crop) mixture has a role to play, from which the next crops and mixing partners will benefit. The plants must be distributed evenly over the field to achieve this. The two metering units ensure that this happens.

Optimum seed depositing

Different types of plant require different depositing depths. Large-grained seeds must be deposited deeper than small-grained ones. The two seeding systems guarantee this: the tine sweeps are ideal for deeper depositing, while the double disc sweeps can deposit light-dependent germinators with precision.

Pendulum support wheels provide front depth guidance. They cut the influence of soil irregularities such as combine tracks in half. Especially flat work and precise depth guidance are crucial for this.

Coarse-grained seed is placed precisely behind the patented tine. Thanks to the tine geometry developed in-house, a uniform seed placement depth is achieved.

After the tine sweeps, the earth that has been thrown up needs to be cleared back into the furrow. This is done by means of a height-adjustable unit of furrow closers.

Double disc sweep

Precise depositing of small-grained seeds is achieved by means of double disc sweeps. The double sweeps open the furrow for the seed. The earth that falls into the furrow is pressed down and optimum soil coverage for germination is ensured.
